Paintings

On November 18, 2011 Phyllis Sanfiorenzo unveiled a solo exhibition at the La Galeria located in the Manhattan Campus of Boricua College. Presenting a series of paintings and sculpture during Puerto Rican Heritage Month.  "Home Grown Premonitions" invites us to imagine the ancient navigators of the oceans, criss-crossing timely parallels through iconic imagery and ironic parady. Symbolic works intended to ground toward a deeper level of acceptance and owning up to an America inherently ours.
